Permanent plot is 6 m from edge of parking lot (long, narrow parking lot off of Old Battleground Road). Park in one of the middle spaces and walk in, looking for a 60-80 cm dbh Quercus coccinea with a tag (tag #52) facing the parking lot. Conduit is 1.5 m SW of the tree. Since half the plot is the parking lot, we did a vegetation plot in the non-parking lot area. From the conduit, walk in at a bearing of 120 degrees for 15 m. This is the center of the plot (25 m point of centerline). Bearing of plot is 350 degrees.

Landscape Narrative
Environmental_Comments: Flat. Fire suppression; not heavily disturbed; possibly fire suppressed judging from the oak trees and lack of regeneration.
